About Us

Mission Statement

The Office of Student Care and Concern is committed to the mission of the University of Connecticut and the Division of Student Affairs by providing intervention and support for those students that are in distress or a possible threat to self or others.  The office coordinates a response that balances the needs of the individual student with the safety and welfare of the University community.

The Office of Student Care and Concern is available to do in-person or virtual presentations during the summer and winter break. These typically last between 30-60 minutes with time available for questions. Video presentations are also available anytime throughout the year.
